Candidate evaluation was conducted to a defined list of necessary criteria. Project management skills, experience with a relevant/aligned technology and appetite for risk/entrepreneurial flair were accessed.

The report included an overlay of analysis of global Talent Availability and diversity-related factors to ensure alignment with the 3-year global growth plan, and compliance with the client’s internal policies.

A successful shortlist was submitted which resulted in acceptance of offer.

The client was an energy retail business. Trinity then conducted confidential conversations with specified individuals so as to better understand their experience, their current accountabilities and the structure of their function. 

Ultimately the client did not go forward with this appointment because the research provided indicated that there were no individuals in the market with the combined experience sought after.

This prompted the client to re-evaluate their proposed leadership structure in order to accommodate two different professionals with the required specialisms.
